James Tedesco raised to 600 in the hijack, another player three-bet to 1,700 on the button. and the big blind called. Tedesco counted out the chips to call and then put on some more chips to four-bet to 7,800, which saw the button call and the big blind fold.
Tedesco moved all in for 17,000 effective on the flop of and the button called.

The board ran out and the aces held up in the most brutal of hold'em coolers, giving Tedesco an early lead in the tournament.

Action was picked up in a five-way pot with 1,600 in the center.
On a board reading , the small blind led out for 300 which saw only Ryan Hoffman in the big blind call.
Both players checked the turn to the river, where the small blind bet 500, then called a raise to 2,000 from Hoffman.
The small blind tabled for three queens, but it was no good against Ryan Hoffman's for aces-full and he took down the pot.

The annual 2024 $365 Bar Poker Open Championship begins today at 10 a.m. This exclusive, invite-only event will see players in leagues from all around the country make their way to The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas with dreams of becoming the new Bar Poker Open Champion. This will be the ninth summer that it is held at this location. A first place prize of $100,000 is guaranteed with the total payout purse landing somewhere around $400,000. Only players who have qualified through their local leagues will be able to play this event.
Last year it was Edward Holt who ended up coming out as the victor, beating Ryan Surdi heads up. Holt collected $80,000 for his first-place efforts and time will tell who fills those big shoes.

All entries will start with 25,000 in tournament chips and levels will be 30-minutes each on Day 1 and will increase to 45-minutes on Day 2 and the final day. There will be a 15-minute break after every four levels and each Day 1 will play down to 5 percent of the field.
The first of two Day 1a flights will shuffle up and deal at 10 a.m, with the second starting later in the day at 4 p.m Vegas time. A second chance flight takes off at 11 a.m, on Tuesday June 11th, in which unsuccessful hopefuls can try again at making Day 2 and those that have already bagged a Day 2 stack have the opportunity to try their luck again and aim to bag even more tournament chips.
Any player that successfully bags chips twice will take their largest stack forward and will receive $1,500 for their efforts.
