The action folded around to Mike Reesman in the small blind and he put a stack of 5,000 chips across the line. Doug Morris was in the big blind and instantly called off his stack of 78,000.

Andrea Willbur, Martin Bender, and Pamela Cooksey all put 74,000 in before the flop and Cooksey was at risk on the bubble.
The dealer spread a flop of and Bender checked to Willbur who moved the rest of her stack across the line and Bender got out of the way.

Cooksey had run into the top set of Willbur but the turn gave her some hope as she picked up an open-ended straight draw. The on the river however, was not what Cooksey needed as she was eliminated from the tournament. A player on another table was eliminated during the same hand which means they split the minimum cash, taking home $250 each.
All 54 remaining players have locked up a payout of $500.

There was a limp from early position before the button raised to 42,000. Robert Oswald was in the big blind and put his entire stack across the line. The limper quickly folded and the preflop raiser asked the dealer how much more it was. The dealer responded that it is 67,000 total.
"67,000? So 25,000 more? How could I fold?" As he proceeded to drop five more black chips into the middle.

It was a coinflip as the flop came , paring Oswald's queen and giving him an open-ended straight draw. The hit the turn, giving the button more outs but the on the river helped no one as Oswald dragged the pot.

After just moving tables, Kishia Jefferson was right back in the action as a player raised in early position and she three-bet to 60,000 next to act. The action folded back to the original raiser and he put the rest in for about 65,000.

This summer, Golden Nugget Las Vegas will play host to the 14th Annual Grand Poker Series, which features 81 events and offers over $3 million in guaranteed prize money from May 31-July 3. One of those events is the $1,100 buy-in, $1,000,000 Guaranteed PokerNews Cup that will run from June 24-28.
The tournament will feature three starting flights beginning with Day 1a at 11 a.m. PT on Friday, June 24. Days 1b and 1c will take place at the same time on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26 respectively. The surviving players from each flight will return at Noon on Monday, June 27 to play down to the final table, which will play out at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28.

The action folded around to the cutoff who jammed for about 70,000 and Kishia Jefferson three-bet all-in from the small blind, forcing the big blind out of the hand.
