Naftzinger Hits Straight Flush

June 9, 2026 @ 03:33 PM

Jamie Naftzinger

Jamie Naftzinger was sitting with a large stack on break and recalled a recent hand to PokerNews.

Naftzinger called from the small blind after a raise from Daniel Dunning sitting under the gun. Naftzinger held and checked his flush on the flop. Dunning continued for 10,000, and Naftzinger called to the turn, improving to a straight flush.

Dunning bet another 10,000, and Naftzinger called once more. Naftzinger then led out for 17,000 on the irrelevant river, making the instant call when Dunning moved all in.

Dunning tabled for a flush, but Naftzinger showed his winning hand to take down a big pot.
