BPO Vegas World Championship Final Table Gets Underway at 2 p.m.

June 12, 2025 @ 12:00 PM

Final Table

The third and final day of the 2025 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship begins at 2 p.m. local time at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas. Only eight players are returning from a field that started with 1,223 competitors from leagues all around the country. The eight remaining players are all on the hunt for the $100,000 top prize out of the $335,375 prize pool, along with the title of Bar Poker Open Champion.

Ron Fienberg of Cary, NC, is the runaway chip leader heading into the final day, sitting with 8,045,000. He got hot at the right time yesterday, knocking out five out of eight players once the final two tables were set. As the only player with over 30 big blinds, he looks to leverage his big stack and put pressure on his opponents to keep his momentum going.

Patricia Jackomin (4,755,000) is one of two females left in the field and enters the final table sitting in second place. The Pennsylvania resident eliminated Barry Fagan in ninth place to propel herself toward the top of the counts.

Rounding out the top three is Bill Acerra of Massachusetts with 4,065,000. He climbed steadily throughout the day yesterday, picking his spots to build a stack. He aims to do the same today.

Only 62 players returned for Day 2, including John Carr, who final-tabled the 2023 Bar Poker Open Championship and John Dennehy who finished sixth in last year's edition of the event.

Day 1a chip leader Vincent Loria fell just shy of the final table when he got it all in with king-jack against Barry Fagan's ace-ten and exited in 11th.
