The 2025 $365 Bar Poker Open Championship kicked off today at 10 a.m. with the first starting flight, 1a1, followed by flight 1a2 at 4 p.m, which features much of the same structure and details.
This invite-only tournament brings together league qualifiers from across the country to The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas for a shot at Bar Poker Open glory. Now in its 10th consecutive summer at this venue, the event features a guaranteed $100,000 top prize from a buy in of $365, with the total prize pool expected to approach $400,000+. Participation is limited to players who secured their spot through their local bar poker leagues.
Last year's champion, Miguel Medrano of New York, claimed the title along with his first-ever six-figure payday. He secured the victory after defeating fellow New York Free Poker league member Patrick Martorella in heads-up play, who earned $55,000 for his runner-up finish.

The 2025 Bar Poker Open Championship second flight officially kicks off today at 4 p.m. local time, capped at 500 entries. Players may enter flight 1a1 and 1a2, but only one chip stack can be carried forward to Day 2. Those who qualify from both flights will advance with their larger stack and receive a $1,500 bonus.
A special "Second Chance" flight is set for Tuesday, June 10 at 11 a.m., open only to players who participated in either of today's Day 1 flights. Just like the main flights, 10% of each flight will reach the money, with a guaranteed minimum payout of $500. Each Day 1 will conclude once 5% of the field remains, rounded up.
Day 2 resumes on Wednesday, June 11 at 11 a.m., and will play down to the final table. The action will culminate in a televised final table on Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m.
