The biggest Bar Poker Open Championship yet saw a total of 1,164 players come from all across the country to try to be crowned the next BPO champion. From that massive starting field, just 59 players return to the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada, to play for the massive $100,000 prize to first place.
Leading the way is David "Domino" Muser who bagged up 1,485,000. Muser raked in most of his chips when he eliminated Tom Heinlein in a massive pot, propelling him into the chip lead and he held it for the rest of the tournament. Nathaniel McNamara bagged just behind him with 1,380,000 after being all in on the bubble against Joshua Mordenti (60,000). He had run into Mordenti's aces, only to be saved by making a wheel on the river to score a massive double into the top two chip stacks. Both of them have remained in the chip lead since the first Day 1a flight and will be looking for their first BPO title.
| Place | Player | Chip Count |
| 1 | David Muser | 1,485,000 |

| 3 | Tafuto Antonio | 1,265,000 |
| 4 | Billy Hayes | 1,200,000 |

| 6 | Patrick Terek | 1,112,000 |
| 7 | Steven Morey | 1,065,000 |
| 8 | Patrick Martorella | 1,046,000 |
| 9 | Shelby Williams | 929,000 |
| 10 | Tim Dancy | 910,000 |
Three former BPO main event champions made their way to the end of their respective days as Thomas Nefcy (505,000), Rafael Jimenez (350,000), and Ian Auvil (300,000) look to carve their names deeper into BPO history with a second title. Auvil won the BPO world championship last November while Jimenez and Nefcy took down this very event in 2019 and 2022, respectively.
Day 1a1 players finished with 7:25 left in Level 19, with blinds at 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. Blinds will go from 30-minute levels to 45-minute levels and play will go eight-handed. These final 59 players will combine for the first time where each person will begin to duke it out for the newest crown of the BPO and $100,000. Play will continue until a final table is reached.

This year's edition of The $365 Bar Poker Open Championship Invitational saw a total of 428 play their last shot at Day 2 here at The Golden Nugget, Las Vegas. Combined with numbers from yesterday's two flights, the total number of entrants into the tournament lands at 1,164. This tournament is not only a bigger tournament than last year but the biggest invitational tournament in the country.
Leading the way of the final flight is Billy Hayes, who bagged up 1,200,000. Hayes saw himself go on a late night tear to rake in the majority of the pots at his table, now enough chips for the top five stacks in the whole tournament. Sitting behind him is Patrick Terek (1,112,000), who spent most of the day as one of the biggest stacks in the field, sticking out with his bright outfit.
| Place | Player | Chip Count |

| 8 | Keith Etienne | 546,000 |
| 9 | Thomas Nefcy | 505,000 |
| 10 | John Kelly | 501,000 |
One former BPO main event champion made his way to the end of the day as Thomas Nefcy (505,000). Nefcy spent a decent chunk of the day at the same table as the player who got second place to him in 2022 Kourtney Simms. While Simms couldn't find a bag, Nefcy will join two other former BPO champions in the hope of taking down the massive $100,000 score.
The 24 players finished with 7:25 left in level 19, with blinds at 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante on the first day. Blinds will go from 30-minute levels to 45-minute levels, and play will go to 8-handed. These final 22 players will join yesterday's 38 players, and each person will begin to duke it out for the newest crown of the BPO and $100,000.
