Brink Rivers a Flush for a Big One

A player limped in middle position before there was a raise to 8,500. Glen Brink called on the button and the limper came along as well.

The dealer fanned a flop of and once checked to the preflop raiser jammed for about 50,000. Brink quickly called and the third player mucked his hand.

Hovey Qualifies with Last Minute Decision; Still in

Phil Hovey decided last minute to try to qualify for the 2022 Bar Poker Open as his friend Chris O'Neil had already won a seat.

Hovey wanted to join O'Neil in Las Vegas during the World Series of Poker so he decided to load up his account online for some tokens. It didn't take long for him to qualify as his first attempt went perfect, winning the entire package.

Hovey is still in the tournament with a slightly below-average stack and is looking to continue to build his stack and capture the Bar Poker Open Championship title.

Roy Carson raised under the gun to 4,000 and was called by the small blind and the big blind went all-in for his last 2,200.

The dealer fanned a flop of and once checked to, Carson continued with a bet, forcing the third player out of the pot.

Tully's Full House Eliminates Two

Edward Tully limped in early position followed by the small blind before the big blind checked their option.

The dealer fanned a flop of , the small blind checked and the big blind put out a bet of 2,100. Tully called and the small blind check-raised all-in for 10,800. After a couple of seconds the big blind called off their stack of roughly 3,800 and Tully instantly called.

Curley Takes Down Massive Pot

With two players already all-in, the flop read . The main pot was roughly 25,000 with a side pot of about 30,000. Law Curley bet 6,300 and the only remaining opponent with chips went into the tank before calling, creating a third pot.

The turn and river were checked down and Curley showed , making two pair, tens, and twos with a queen kicker. The opponent in the third pot attempted to muck before the dealer tabled his as all hands need to be shown in an all-in pot.

Both the all-in players were eliminated from the table as they showed the and the , sending a monstrous sized pot to Curley.

Seven players limped in to see the flop and the action checked to Scott Hall as he put in a bet of 1,500. Both the button and the early position limper made the call.

The landed on the turn and the early position player checked to Hall before he fired in 3,500. The button folded and the early position player made the call.

The completed the board and once checked to, Hall fired for a third time, this time putting 6,000 across the line. His opponent instantly tossed their cards into the muck and the dealer shipped the pot to Hall.

Four players put in 1,600 each and the flop came . Steve Wunderlich checked from the small blind and the big blind checked before there was a bet of 2,000. The player last to act made the call and Wunderlich called as well.

The landed on the turn and all three players checked.

When the hit the river, Wunderlich paused for about 10 seconds. Eventually, he asked the dealer if it was on him and fired out a bet of 2,000. Only the player in late position made the call and Wunderlich tabled , making queens and sevens and his opponent mucked his hand.
