After nine hours of play the 2019 Bar Poker Open National Champion was crowned. Texas Poker Tour’s Rafael Jimenez came into Day 2 as the shortest stack with less than one big blind. He also came into the final table as the shortest stack.
“The final table was good, I was getting cards, and chillaxin its’ a Bar Poker Open I was the only one drinking”
Rafael scored most of the knock outs on the final table, two with back to back pocket jacks.
He attributes his luck to his wife “She’s my good luck charm”.
Jimenez will be taking home a cool $50,000 for his efforts and we will be sure to see him again next year.
