Day 1b of the 2025 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship Kicks Off at 11 a.m.

Day 1b of the 2025 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship is set to get underway here at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas at 11 a.m. local time. This "Second Chance" flight features a $365 buy-in and one reentry is allowed. Players who advance from each flight will combine and return for Day 2 on Wednesday, June 11, when the event will play down to the final table.

Of the two starting flights so far, 757 total entrants showed up yesterday with only 38 of those competitors locking up a seat for Day 2. All eyes are set on the $100,000 first place prize out of the estimated $400,000+ prize pool.

Glenn Zimet (1,250,000) came out on top as the Day 1a1 chip leader, and Vincent Loria (1,280,000) was the player who bagged the most chips in Day 1a2.

The "Second Chance" flight is only available to players who participated in one of yesterday's flights. Like Day 1a, 10% of each flight will reach the money with a minimum cash of $500. Day 1b will end when the field reaches 5% (rounded up).

A $1,500 bonus will be awarded to anyone who advances to Day 2 more than once and those players will play their biggest stack. Also, there is no way to win a paid seat to today's flight through Bar Poker Open.

Day 2 plays out on Wednesday, June 11 at 11 a.m., followed by the televised final table on Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m.

  • Players will receive 25,000 in tournament chips.
  • Levels will be 30-minutes on Day 1, and 45-minutes on Day 2 onward.
  • Day 1b buy-in is $365.
  • On-Site registration is available until the start of Level 11.
  • Alternates and late sign-ups will enter the tournament with a full chip stack and no obligation from it.
  • The starting blind level on Day 2 will be the lower of the final levels from all Day 1 flights.
  • Day 2 will play 8-handed. Redraw at end of Day 1 and at 24 and 9 players, or at the Tournament Director's discretion.
  • Bar Poker Open will be funding any added money into the prize pool and all "Seat Winners" "Buy-In" portion.
